PLANS FOR ATHENRY ADVENTURE PARK PULLED

Date Published: 10-May-2012

Plans to build an outdoor adventure park in Athenry have been pulled.

The withdrawal of the plans have been confirmed in an email to county planners, but no reason has been given for the decision.

Roger and Michelle Leggett applied for permission to build the outdoor area to include a high rope course, climbing wall and playground for the park at Farranablake last October.

They also proposed building a special needs activity park, mini-golf and picnic area.
