PLAN FOR HOSPITAL WATCH AT PORTIUNCULA BALLINASLOE

A meeting of the Joint Policing Committee in Ballinasloe this week was told it is hoped to set up a 'hospital watch' at Portiuncula Hospital in the New Year.Superintendent Peadar Carney said the move follows the establishment of a number of neighbourhood watch schemes in different areas of the town.
