A procession in memory of those killed during the Israeli attack on an aid flotilla is taking place in the city around now.

It left Westside Library around an hour ago and marched past the Cathedral, through Shop Street to the Spanish Arch.

It's being organised by Galway-Palestine Children’s Appeal and the Galway Alliance Against War.

A book of condolence has also been opened at Galway City Museum and a vigil will take place tonight.
