A Connemara man, who spent the last of his savings on a billboard campaign to try and get a job, has landed a position with Paddy Power bookmakers.
Féilim Mac An Iomaire from Inverin faced the prospect of emigration after searching for work in Ireland for 8 months with no success.
Last month, the marketing graduate spent 2 thousand euro on renting a billboard looking for work calling himself, 'Jobless Paddy'.
The campaign received massive publicity and resulted in 20 interviews for jobs, but he has accepted a position with Paddy Power's PR Department.
