ORANMORE DANGEROUS DRIVING CAUSING DEATH TRIAL BEGINS

The trial of an Oranmore man charged with dangerous driving causing death is to begin before a jury at Galway Circuit Criminal Court later this morning (Friday).Andrew Casey, Redbrick Bungalow, Gurraun South, Oranmore, is charged with dangerous driving at Oranmore on November 27 last year The man who died was Peter Sharkey, a native of Elphin, Co. Roscommon, who had an address at Gort na Coiribe, Galway, at the time of the accident.
