ORAL HEARING FOR LANDOWNERS AFFECTED BY N17 SCHEME

An oral hearing for landowners affected by a compulsory purchase acquisition to improve road safety along the N17 will take place next month.
Galway County Council will present its submission to acquire the land for the Carrownurlaur Bends scheme.
The dangerous bends near Milltown have been the location of several road crashes including a crash in November 2009 which claimed the lives of 4 young women.
An Bord Pleanála will host the hearing at the Ard Rí House Hotel in Tuam at 11a.m. on Tuesday February 7th.
