NUIG LAND SWAP DEAL COULD BE IN DANGER

A 'land swap' deal between NUIGalway and property owners at Newcastle road in the city could be in jeopardy.NUIG bought houses from the residents so it could develop a new entrance to the University.The college was granted permission last month to build 40 homes at Corrib village as part of the land swap, but now that decision has been appealled to An Bord Pleanála.
