NUIG EVENT TO FORGE NEW BRAIN IMAGING TECHNOLOGIES

Date Published: 22-Apr-2011

International academics and scientists hoping for better images of our brains will gather in Galway next week to share their latest technologies.

The School of Psychology at NUI Galway has brought together experts from Oxford, Nottingham and other universities around the world, to help forge new ways of looking at the human brain.

There are several different brain imaging techniques and the University is hoping to combine them to help researchers and doctors analyse the brain better.

Dr Michael Hogan of NUIG says the possibilities are endless if scientists share their expertise at the event this day week April 29th.
