NUI Galway hosts public talk on organ donation
Galway Bay fm newsroom - Organ donation and transplantation will be discussed at a public talk in the city on tomorrow.
The talk will centre on the findings of a comprehensive study on public attitudes to organ donation, and their importance in determining future public policy.
It's ahead of a special tree planting event at the Circle of Life National Organ Donor Commemorative Garden at Quincentennial Park in Salthill on Saturday.
The garden is a joint development between Galway City Council and Galway-based charity, Strange Boat Donor Foundation.
The talk will take place in the Martin Ryan Institute Theatre at NUI Galway at 8 tomorrow evening.
Martina Goggin of the Strange Boat foundation says speakers will be sharing their personal stories.
