NUI Galway conference to showcase new economic talent

Galway Bay fm newsroom – An economic conference to showcase an international range of new talent will take place at NUI Galway next month. The J.E Cairnes School of Business and Economics at the University will host the 2014 Irish Society of New Economists Conference. More than 74 economists from 33 universities and research organisations around the world will present their research findings at the two day event. Topics will include banking, financial markets, health economics, education, crime, employment and marine economics. Head of Economics at NUI Galway Professor Alan Ahearne will open the event, which will take place at the university on the 4th and 5th of September.
