There could be a massive building boom in Tuam if plans to build over 600 homes in the town, get the go ahead.Arlum Ltd has applied for permission to build 369 houses, a community/creche and shops at Airglooney on the Ballygaddy Road.Meanwhile, Tom Lavelle and Joe Dilleen want to build 108 houses and a creche at Killaloonty on the Weir Road.However, plans by Michael and Larry O' Connell are still in the pipeline for 142 houses at Killaloonty.
