NO ARRESTS YET AFTER RAID ON PHONE SHOP IN LOUGHREA

CCTV footage is now being examined following today's robbery at a phone shop in Loughrea.
The O2 shop on Main Street was broken into shortly after 1 this morning when the thief or thieves used a crowbar to smash through the front of the premises.
The full extent of what was taken has not yet been established until a stock-take is completed.
A Garda spokesperson says no arrests have yet been made but an intensive investigation is ongoing.
