NEW RETIREMENT VILLAGE APPROVED FOR LOUGHREA

A new retirement village in Loughrea has got the green light. The village at Mountpleasant will include a nursing home, medical centre, offices, shops, church and social centre. An Bord Pleanála has upheld a decision by the county council to allow Tony William go ahead with the new retirement village, subject to 11 revised conditions.
