NAMA TAKES ACTION ON 50 GALWAY PROPERTIES

50 Galway properties were subject to enforcement action by NAMA last year [2011].

Figures compiled in the bad bank's annual statement show that 1 thousand and 93 such actions were taken nationwide.

Seven properties in the Oranmore area were subject to enforcement action by NAMA last year.

This is followed by six in Loughrea, four in Tuam and one in Ballinasloe.

The National Asset Management Agency also lists 17 properties in the city and its surrounds including areas such as Ballybrit, Doughiska, Eyre Square and Rahoon.
