New brand continues to make big Leaps with latest model

Ireland’s newest brand from China is already upping their game following the successful introduction of the fully electric B10 compact SUV earlier in 2026.
Leapmotor Ireland is adding to the range with the introduction of the new B10 Hybrid EV, further reinforcing an expanding product portfolio, with this new model set to arrive on Irish forecourts in the coming weeks.
Pricing for the B10 Hybrid EV starts from €36,995 for the entry-level STYLE version and €37,995 for the DESIGN trim. Both models feature an 18.8kWh battery offering up to 86km of electric range, a 50kW generator, and a 50 litre fuel tank delivering a combined range of up to 900km. Together, these ensure the reassurance of extended driving range with the smooth, efficient character of electric driving.

This new car is the latest addition to Leapmotor Ireland’s growing line-up and reflects the brand’s attempts at making electric driving more accessible to Irish motorists. The new “Hybrid EV” replaces the previously used “REEV” terminology across both the C10 and B10 range-extended models. They are hoping that this will make more sense to customers thinking about buying Leapmotor’s hybrid models.
He continued: “More and more buyers want vehicles that deliver real-world capability, strong efficiency and premium equipment without the premium price tag, “ said Stephen McGrath, brand manager of Leapmotor Ireland.
"B10 Hybrid EV answers that demand and strengthens our position as a brand focused on giving customers more for their money, without any compromise.”
Leapmotor’s Hybrid EV offers a genuine 100% electric driving experience with a difference. Unlike traditional hybrids as we know them the wheels are powered solely by the electric motor, where the engine comes in to contribute to propulsion. The compact petrol range extender (on-board generator) activates only to produce electricity and recharge the battery when required.
Some of the features in the cabin include a smartphone-inspired digital environment with a 14.6-inch 2.5K display. The latest updates have introduced wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and One Pedal Driving functionality. Safety remains paramount, with a high-strength body, seven airbags, and 17 advanced driver assistance functions. Despite its compact footprint, the B10 delivers best-in-class headroom and a spacious 2,735mm wheelbase for exceptional family comfort.
B10 Hybrid EV joins the Leapmotor T03 compact city car with a range of 265km from €18,950, B10 compact SUV promises 434km from €32,984 and C10 large family SUV with 420km from €38,995. All prices inclusive of SEAI grant and VRT rebate - as the brand broadens its offering across key segments of the Irish market.
