MINISTER OFFICIALLY RE-OPENS CLAREGALWAY BRIDGE

The Junior Minister for Finance Brian Hayes officially re-opened the bridge at Claregalway this afternoon.

8 million euro has been spent by the Office of Public Works and Galway County Council on widening and upgrading the bridge after the November 2009 flooding.

Minister Hayes is also meeting Claregalway families in need of re-location after their homes were permanently destroyed by the flooding.
