MENINGITIS LIKELY CAUSE OF DEATH OF LITTLE COUNTY GALWAY GIRL

The Health Service Executive has confirmed that it seems likely a little girl from County Galway died from meningitis yesterday.The H-S-E says at this stage there's a strong suspicion that the illness may have been caused by meningococcal bacteria.
