MEDTRONIC GALWAY GETS GO AHEAD FOR INNOVATION CENTRE

A major medical devices employer in Galway has been given the go ahead for a multi-million euro development.

Medtronic employs up to two thousand people in the city and has now been granted planning permission for a customer innovation centre.

The development at Polkeen, to the northeast of the existing Medtronic building will be two-storeys in height.

It'll include a reception, interactive communications hub, meeting rooms and a research and development suite.
