MARY HARNEY VIEWS SITE OF VITAL NEW CITY SERVICE FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES

The Minister for Health, Mary Harney, visited the Enable Ireland Children's Centre in the city today [2/5] to mark the construction of a new unit.Building work on a new hydrotherapy treatment pool is underway and is due to be complete by September.The Enable Ireland Childrens Centre, based at Séamus Quirke Road, caters for children with disabilities and a small number of adults.The new hydrotherapy pool will improve the quality of life of children with a disabilties.Mary Courtney, Director of Services with Enable Ireland West, says a lot of hard work has gone into fundraising for the project.
