MAN'S BODY RECOVERED AFTER AIR AND SEA SEARCH IN BARNA

The body of a man has been recovered from the sea off the coast of Galway.
A search was launched by the Galway RNLI Lifeboat and the Irish Coastguard Helicopter earlier today, after a man was reported missing.
The alarm was first raised by a friend of the missing person who was last seen on Barna beach yesterday.
The body was recovered from the sea shortly after 3pm around two miles west of Barna.
