MAN SUES GALWAY COMPANIES AFTER GIG

A 20 year old man has sued singer Akon and two Galway based companies over injuries he allegedly suffered at a gig in Dublin two years ago.

Jason Harkin claims he suffered injuries after the singer collided with him after jumping from the stage into the crowd at the RDS on Jaunuary 27th, 2009.

According to the Irish Times, when the matter came before the High Court yesterday, Mr Justice Seán Ryan granted lawyers for Mr Harkin an order allowing them to serve the proceedings on Akon.
