Man still held at Mill Street following discovery of body in Clare

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A man remains in Garda custody at Mill Street Garda Station this morning following the discovery of a body in Clare yesterday. The body has been formally identified as that of 41 year old Carraroe native Adrian Folan who had been missing since Thursday (July 3). Mr. Folan was last seen in Athlone on Thursday, where he was studying in the local IT as a mature student. His body was discovered at a quarry in Kilconnell in Liscannor in Clare yesterday. A man arrested in relation to his disappearance is still being questioned this morning at Mill Street Garda station. Anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behavior in the Liscannor area since last Thursday is asked to contact Gardai.
