MAN STILL DETAINED OVER SOUTH GALWAY GROW HOUSE

A man, in his 20s, is still in custody this morning following a major Garda drugs operation in South Galway yesterday.[14/11]
Gardai from Portumna and Loughrea backed up by the Galway Divisional Drugs Unit and the Dogs Unit raided premises in Killimor and Woodford around 1 o 'clock yesterday afternoon.
A grow house was discovered at one of the locations with cannabis plants and cannabis herb.
A total of 70,000 euro worth of the drug was seized.
A man in his early 20s and a man in his early 60s were arrested in Killimor and Woodford under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
They were taken to Loughrea Garda station for questioning but the man in his 60s has since been released without charge.
