MAN REMOVED FROM WATER AT CITY BRIDGE

Emergency services assisted in the rescue of a man who entered the River Corrib in the city overnight.
He was removed from the water at O'Brien's bridge at around 2.30am.
Three units of the fire brigade attended the scene.
The man was hospitalised as a precautionary measure.
