MAN IN COURT OVER AGGRAVATED BURGLARY IN BALLINASLOE

A man in his 20s has been charged with burglary at a house in Ballinasloe over the weekend.

23 year old Niall Lynch of 7 Aonach Ballinasloe appeared before a special sitting of Loughrea district court yesterday.

He's been remanded in custody to appear before Harristown district court on Friday.

His court appearance followed an investigation into an aggravated burglary at an elderly mans house at Jubilee Street in the early hours of Saturday.
