MAN FOUN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN BALLINASLOE

A man was found with serious head injuries in Ballinasloe in the early hours of today and the area where he was found has been sealed off by Gardai for further examination.

The 31-year-old local man was found with head injuries was found at Duggan Avenue at approximately 5 am today. (Sunday 7/10).

He was removed to Portiuncuala Hospital, Ballinasloe where he is being treated for his injuries.

Gardai do not suspect foul play at this stage but they are appealing to anyone who may have seen the man in the vicinity of Duggan Avenue at about 5 am today to contact them at 09096-31890.
