Major Tuam employer seeks retention permission
Galway Bay fm newsroom - One of Tuam's biggest employers is seeking planning permission to make and retain alterations at the facility on the Dunmore road.
Valeo vision systems wants the go-ahead to keep the existing modular building extension to the side of the premises.
The company also wants full planning permission to retain and complete the construction of an employee entrance, and retain and complete alterations to the internal layout of the building.
Valeo vision systems hosts both an R and D centre and a production facility and has over 500 people working at the site.
