MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT DUE ON 15 MILLION EURO NUIG ALZHEIMERS RESEARCH

A major announcement is expected to be made today on a 15 million euro project on Alzheimers research involving NUI Galway.Enterprise Minister Micháel Martin is expected to announce the research project involving more than 20 experts from N-U-I Galway, Trinity College and GlaxoSmithKline.It will concentrate on determining the causes of Alzheimers rather than focusing on medication used to treat the disease.
