Luke Combs spotted having quiet meal inside local Galway restaurant

We can imagine he wanted to slip somewhere outside of the city and the Races too
One of the biggest music stars in the world was spotted having a quiet meal inside a famous Galway restaurant just weeks after playing one of his biggest gigs yet.
Still in Ireland after his Slane gigs in mid July, US country singer Luke Combs made the trip west trying out the beautiful delicacies that Moran’s On The Weir in Kilcolgan have to offer.
The Grammy Award nominated, two time best entertainer of the year - known for songs like Hurricane and Forever After All - was snapped enjoying a drink behind the bar with one of the staff who said it was an “absolute pleasure to have him”.
Combs was the first country artist to take the stage at the legendary Slane Castle on July 18 and 19th, which has hosted concerts by global music icons including Madonna, Eminem, David Bowie, Metallica, U2, Harry Styles, and Bruce Springsteen since shows first began there in 1981.
The line-up also featured Dublin band The Script, country artist Ty Myers, and trio The Castellows as special guests.
Speaking on the North American and European tour, Combs said: “This year has been awesome. We’ve gotten to play some of the most iconic festivals in the world and promote country music in ways that it normally isn’t. That said, while the festivals are awesome, there’s nothing like a headline show on a full tour with all of my fans. It’s hard to beat. We went to 8 different countries, bringing along a ton of great support, and played a lot of new music.
The tour added to an already historic career for Combs, who recently became the highest RIAA certified country artist ever with 168 million units sold (surpassing Garth Brooks) and made history as the first country artist to headline both Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza.
His cover of Tracy Chapman’s Fast Car also went viral on TikTok.
