LOUGHREA FILLING STATION CLOSED AS FUEL LAUNDERING CASE CONTINUES

The filling station in Loughrea where laundered fuel was seized yesterday [1/9] remains closed this afternoon, while an investigation continues.Over 6,000 litres of fuel was seized from Fill-Up filling station at The Hill, Loughrea as part of yesterday's national operation - representing a loss to the Exchequer of around 3 thousand euro.Two men are still being questioned by Gardaí after searches were carried out in six counties around the country.
