Scottish Derby winning owner PJ Fahy has vowed to donate the £1 million sterling bonus – offered to any dog who can win all three major Derbys — to charity if his champion greyhound Tyrur Kieran claims victory in the other two events.Following Tyrur Kieran’s superb title win at Shawfield on Saturday night, the greyhound has been installed as one of the favourites to take the honours at the English Derby in Wimbledon in early May.Should he complete the double there, and subsequently win the Irish title in September, Kieran would claim a £1 million sterling bonus, which PJ, his wife Mary and family have pledged to give to charity. “If the dog wins the million bonus, the million will be going to charity,” confirmed Glenamaddy owner Fahy. “We will be giving that to charity.
