LOBBY GROUP CALLS FOR INVESTMENT IN WAVE ENERGY

A lobby group promoting the development of the west, believes now is the time for the Government to invest money in developing wave energy.The 'Council for the west' believes the wave power along the coast of Galway, Mayo, Sligo and Donegal has enormous potential for electricity generation, and that the Government should take advantage of this.
