LETTERMORE FAMILY HAVE LUCKY ESCAPE AFTER LIGHTNING HITS HOME

A mother and son had a lucky escape after lightening set fire to their home in Connemara this afternoon.The mother and son were forced to flee their bungalow home in Gleann Trasna Lettermore shortly after the lightening hit at around 3pm.They did not sustain any serious injuries but it's understood the house is badly damaged.
