LAUNCH OF NEW GALWAY DRUG SERVICE WEBSITE

A website providing details of drug and alcohol support services in Galway, Mayo and Roscommon will be launched this morning.

The Western Region Drugs Task Force has created the website www.supportme.ie, as a toolkit for individuals and agencies.

It will function as an online directory with information on services such as addiction, family and finance.

A new campaign called 'the community harm reduction initiative’, that enables locals to take steps to tackle substance abuse will also be unveiled today.
