LANDOWNERS OBJECT TO OUGHTERARD CYCLE ROUTE

The proposed development of a cycle route in the Connemara region - separate from the public roads - is now under the scrutiny of An Bord Pleanála.

A number of landowners in the Oughterard area have objected to the route going through their lands.

The proposed cycle route or greenway runs from Oughterard to Clifden.
