Is there a (Saw) Doctor in the (White) House?

One of the Saw Doctors’ biggest fans in the US is a Clinton-style musician governor who is being touted as a possible presidential candidate in 2016 - so much so that he turned up again at their latest US gig last week and brought another governor with him to share the stage!
Martin O'Malley, 47, has been mates with the Tuam band before he launched his political career in the 90s in his home city of Baltimore in the state of Maryland.
The Docs were playing an Irish festival in Baltimore when they shared the bill with O'Malley's March, a Celtic rock band for which Martin O’Malley was the vocalist, guitarist and songwriter.
“He loved the band and his party piece became ‘The Green and Red of Mayo’,” enthused manager Ollie Jennings.
“He came over here and visited the lads and spent some time in the Cong and Maam Valley area, where he has relatives. I remember leaving Monroe’s Tavern one morning at 6am and I left him behind with the rest of lads going strong for a good while after.”
Whenever the band tours the States they always meet up. The Saw Doctors have had dinner in the Governor’s Mansion in Baltimore on several occasions.
“He’s a fine politician. He likes having time off. He’s very handsome, very articulate. He’s a dead-ringer for John F Kennedy – an all-American handsome lad.”
