INVERIN MAST PLANS TO BE EXAMINED BY COUNTY PLANNERS

The engineering company behind a new telecommunications mast at Inverin Garda station has offered to submit its planning file to Galway county council. The file will be available for observation only, as masts erected at Garda stations are exempt from planning regulations. The move is a gesture of goodwill towards the local community which held a meeting at Tí Chulain last night to voice their concerns at the lack of public consultation over the recently erected mast.
