A 35 year old Corrundulla man drowned in his own bath, following an altercation outside a city pub, an inquest in Galway has heard.

John Walsh, a panel beater from Ballybeg, Corrandulla, had been involved in an altercation with a doorman outside a pub on July 19 last year.

That was four days before his death and he had complained of headaches in the intervening period.
