INIS OIRR PUBLIC MEETING TO FOCUS ON PIER IMPROVEMENT

Plans to improve the pier on Inis Oírr are expected to dominate a public meeting on the Island next week.

Fianna Fáil has organised the meeting which is taking place on Tuesday the 17th of April at 8:30pm in Comahar Chaomhán.Septic tanks, transport services, farming and education will also be discussed.

Inis Oírr is the smallest of the Aran Islands and has a community of around 250 people.

Galway West Fianna Fail TD, Éamon Ó Cuív says he is hoping to progress plans for the extension of the pier.
