INIS MOR BUS DRIVERS PROTEST

Dozens of bus drivers and business people are protesting on the Aran Island of Inis Mór this morning.

They claim that their livelihoods are being threatened because the County Council wants to move them from their usual parking area.

The Council is trying to build a walkway along the pier on Inis Mór which would make it impossible for buses to continue parking in the area.

The bus drivers are currently blocking the work from being carried out.
