INCREASE IN ASKING PRICE FOR HOMES IN GALWAY

There's been a slight increase in asking prices for homes in the city and county.

Figures compiled by property website Daft dot ie reveal that the average price of a home in the city is just over 188 thousand euro.

That's up one point 2 percent on the final three months of 20-11.

The average asking price for a home in the county is almost 154 thousand euro, that's also up one point 2 percent on the last quarter of last year.
