IBEC CALLS FOR NATIONAL BOND TO FUND WESTERN ROAD

IBEC West is calling for a National Infrastructure Bond to be set up to fund road projects in the West of Ireland. The organisation's Western Office says any delay in completing infrastructure projects such as the N18 Galway to Limerick route will threaten the viability of businesses in the West. It says the poor condition of the N18 is already having a significant impact on delivery scheduling and on road haulage costs.
