HUNDREDS OF EMERGENCY STAFF DEFER GALWAY PICKET

Hundreds of public and private sector workers will not be joining the picket lines in Galway tomorrow.

Members of Galway City and county council, the fire services, the OPW and those who have been dealing with the flooding crisis in recent days will not be picketing.

The decision follows yesterdays announcement by SIPTU, the INO, IMPACT and the Psychiatric Nurses Association that they will be working as normal tomorrow.
