Hundreds attend Ballinasloe public meeting on suicide
Galway Bay fm newsroom - More than three hundred people attended a public meeting in Gullanes Hotel in Ballinasloe last night (26/6) about ways to tackle suicide in East Galway.
The information event was organised by Galway East Life Support Group, GELS, which was set up to try and combat the increasing problem of suicide.
Garda Superintendent Gerry Roche, who's Chairman of GELS, said there is very little information on services available for people who want help.
