THE HSE West was again lashed at the monthly meeting of Tuam Town Council over the delay in progressing a health campus in the town. The criticism of the HSE West arose after Mayor Martin Ward said he expected the Tuam primary healthcare team to be in place in rented accommodation at Mellow’s House within a month or six weeks. But Councillor Teresa McHugh said they were not being briefed about what was happening at Mellow’s House. She added that a deputation was told early this year that a brief on the proposed Tuam Health Campus would be prepared by the end of February. But the end of May is fast approaching and they have yet to see this brief
