HSE CONFIRMS HEALTHCARE WORKER DIAGNOSED WITH HEP C WORKED AT UHG

The HSE has confirmed that a healthcare worker, who was recently diagnosed with Hepatitis C, worked at University Hospital Galway up until early this year.

In a statement, the HSE says the person worked at UHG intermittently until March.

An expert group is currently establishing the background of the case to identify what actions, if any, need to be taken.
