House prices up in city but down in county
Galway Bay fm newsroom - The average asking price for homes in the city is up 3 percent compared to last year.
That's according to figures compiled by property website daft.ie which also shows that house prices in the county have dropped by 4percent.The average asking price for a house in the city is now 164 thousand euro, while in the county it's 131 thousand euro.Meanwhile, prices in Dublin are now 15 percent higher than the same time last year, and the average asking price is now 177 thousand - down more than half from the peak.
