HORSES KEPT IN GARDENS OF TUAM ESTATE

A Tuam Town Councillor is claiming horses are being put into gardens in a Tuam housing estate which the county council recently paid 100,000 euro to clean up.

The gardens are attached to unoccupied houses at Gilmartin Road where the costly clean-up of refuse had to be carried out by Galway County Council late last year.

Cllr Sean Cunniffe told the town board meeting that a resident of Gilmartin Road had told him that some other residents, and non-residents, had been putting horses into the gardens that were cleaned up.
