HOMECARE PROVIDER EXPECTS GALWAY WORKFORCE TO EXPAND FURTHER

Bluebird Care says the number of people employed by the homecare provider across Galway will continue to grow because of the large customer demand.

50 new jobs were announced for the Galway region today, bringing the company's workforce here to 155.

Nationally- the company is creating 510 new jobs, all of which will come on stream in the next six months.

Operations Director, Eddie O' Toole says the positions will be open to care assistants and support workers.
