Staff at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe are under pressure this afternoon, as a large volume of patients are waiting on trollies for treatment.
Figures released by the Irish Nurses Organisation, show that 19 patients are waiting on trollies at Portiuncula hospital.
18 patients are also waiting on trollies at the A and E department in University Hospital Galway
